Bounding Main's Performance on Higher Ground We had an absolute blast on "Higher Ground," hosted by Jonathan Overby on Wisconsin Public Radio in Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday May 29, 2004! We shared the stage with amazing 17-year old singer/songwriter Jake Brower, the very talented Prairie Smoke Bluegrass Band, UW-Platteville/Heartland Festival Community Theatre with clippings from "Pump Boys & Dinettes", Books Just For Kids with Laurie Rosengren, excellent poet and all around nice guy Ray Hsu. Simulcast all across the country ("200,000 listeners!"), people from all over the country were able to enjoy the program!
So many of our friends and family came out to see us for this performance — it was just wonderful to have a filled audience for this show. Everyone at WPR was wonderful and professional throughout the entire process. Jonathan Overby complimented us on both our sound and the theatricality of our performance. It must be mentioned that the Bounding Main girls debuted their new outfits, and each of them looked even more beautiful than can be imagined. Needless to say, there were many compliments on our costumes.
